Director & Co-founder

Phoebes Garland has over 30 years of diverse sales experience in fashion, publishing, and advertising. Described as a “power agent” by Assia Benmedjdoub, Publisher of Ragtrader magazine, Phoebes has significantly grown sales sections by over 500% in her career.

For over 11 years, Phoebes contributed as a regular features writer for Exposed Online, a publication of Fashion Exposed with a distribution to over 60,000 subscribers in the fashion industry.

Phoebes is passionately involved in various aspects of the fashion industry, serving as a fashion writer, commentator, consultant, and mentor. She was formerly on the advisory board for the Fashion Design Studio (Sydney TAFE) over over 10 years, which showcases at Fashion Week Australia and which was a member of the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI). Esteemed graduates from the studio include Dion Lee, Akira Isogawa, Michale Lo Sordo, Alex Perry, and Nicky Zimmermann. (Zimmermann)

An avid supporter of not-for-profits, Phoebes is an ambassador for Shake it Up Australia Foundation and Adopt Change, two causes that resonate personally with her. She is also an Entrepreneur in Residence for the ASPIRE program, mentoring school children in career development.

Garland & Garland were the exclusive fashion agents invited as original mentors to designers by the Australian Fashion Chamber, now known as the Australian Fashion Council.
